Getting Started & Onboarding
How do I upgrade from a Starter plan to a Team plan?
You can upgrade at any time from your account. Click the "Upgrade" or "Admin" link to visit the "Create Your Team" page. Once you complete the secure payment, your account will be instantly upgraded.
All existing certifications from your personal account are automatically migrated.
How do I invite my employees?
As an Organization Admin, go to the "Admin" page. You can invite users by entering their Name and Email.
They will receive a welcome email with a temporary password. You can also use the "Bulk Invite" feature to upload a CSV.
What are the different user roles?
- Organization Admin: Full access. Can manage billing, users, and view all certs.
- Group Admin: Can only manage users and certs within their assigned group.
- Technician: Can only view and edit their own certifications.
Account & Billing
How does the Starter plan limit work?
The free Starter plan allows unlimited certifications but only for 2 unique types (e.g., OSHA 10 and CPR). To track a 3rd type, you must upgrade.
How do I update my credit card?
- Go to Admin > Organization Settings.
- Click "Manage Billing".
- You will be redirected to our secure Stripe portal to update payment methods.
Managing Certifications
What if my certification doesn't have an expiration date?
We recommend setting the expiration date far into the future (e.g., 20 years from now). This keeps the certification marked as "Active" in the system without triggering reminders.
Does this app verify my certifications with the state?
No. AutoInSync is a tracking and notification system. It does not verify authenticity with governing bodies. We provide "Photo Proof" uploads so admins can visually verify cards.
User Profile & Notifications
How do I change my password?
Go to "My Profile" > Security Settings. Enter your old password and your new password twice, then click "Change Password".
How do I turn off email reminders?
Go to "My Profile" and uncheck the box for "Email reminders for expiring certifications" under Notification Preferences.
Troubleshooting
I'm not receiving email reminders. What should I do?
- Check Spam/Junk folder.
- Check Profile Settings: Ensure "Expiration Reminders" is toggled ON in "My Profile".
- Verify Email: Ensure your email address is spelled correctly.
How do I reset my password?
Click "Forgot Password" on the login screen. You will receive a 6-digit code via email that expires in 15 minutes.
